Become an expert advocate for your dog with our recognised sighthound welfare modules. Work through each assessment, aim for Distinction level, and earn a Certificate of Achievement.
These assessments form the foundation of effective and humane training plans. They allow dog handlers, trainers, boarders, and walkers to move beyond generic advice and develop a customised approach that increases both knowledge and situational awareness.
To support this high standard of care, licence holders are required to maintain comprehensive personal development records. These records must document ongoing learning and practical refinements, ensuring that professional skills remain current and that all training strategies are backed by a transparent history of professional growth.
Certificate of Achievement
Our Personal Development Modules are recognised by UK canine animal welfare licensing bodies. After you successfully complete a course, our examiners will review your work and issue a Certificate of Achievement. You can then download, print, or showcase your achievement on your website.
Instructions for Completion
Research and Citations
- Research your answers thoroughly using available online resources and your own practical experience. The integration of personal insight may factor in determining your final grade.
- For questions requiring a written response, cite the specific sources or web pages used to support your information.
Exam Guidelines
- Use the provided materials as a foundation for deeper research. To pass, you must achieve a minimum score of 70%.
- Pass = 70% to 84% · Credit = 85% to 94% · Distinction = 95% to 100%
- Keep answers direct and concise; each written response has a strict word limit.
Results and Certification
- Success: upon passing, a link to your certificate displaying your final score is delivered to your registered email address.
- Retakes: if you do not meet the passing requirement, we provide a unique code allowing you to retake the exam at no additional cost.
