Finally.

Don looked after our 3 year old Whippet for two weeks whilst we were on holiday earlier this summer. I met with Don, in advance, for a meet and greet. I was truly blown away by Don’s handling of the dogs and how he works so fluidly and naturally with the pack. He commands such respect from the dogs whilst, at the same time, making sure they have a lot of fun and are well stimulated on the walks. My dog can sometimes be a bit reactive with other dogs but within a really short space of time, Don was able to calm him and use prompts to distract and recall him. Don also had a lot of tips and advice which has really helped me on my own walks with my dog. After the meet and greet, my dog went to stay for a trial night with Don. It went really smoothly and I could tell from the videos Don sent that he settled very, very easily and made himself right at home. Don’s boarding facilities are fabulous and the dogs have such amazing space and freedom. And very comfy beds to snuggle up in at night. Then, we had the two week holiday, where our dog stayed with Don. I normally worry about leaving him because he can get anxious at other people’s houses but I felt really good about it. Don sent wonderful and long videos every day so we could see what our dog had been up to. It was clear he was having the time of his life, with his new Sighthound friends – wonderful long walks, dips in the river, tasty raw meat dog food (supplied by Don). I was worried he might not want to come home!! The videos also showed what remarkable progress Don was making with our dog’s obedience training and recall. We were amazed that it was our dog! I was worried he might revert back to his old habits once he came home but, whilst we are still working on distraction and recall, he is remarkably improved and I am so grateful to Don for how much he has helped us and how well he looked after our dog. He cares so deeply about their care and the proof really is in the pudding. Thanks again Don. So glad we found you!

Don was incredible friendly, insightful and loves dogs! We left our Bedlington whippet Blue with him for a weekend to help improve his recall training and condition him to an e-collar. When we picked him up you could already tell he was a lot more engaged and responding to calls to come back. Don provided regular, detailed video updates whilst we were away, which allowed us to see how blue was getting on. We’re only starting a new journey with recall training for blue, but Don has set us up perfectly and I’d recommend him to anyone with a stubborn Sighthound!

I contacted the sighthound guy for advice having bought my first Italian greyhound, hoping for some one to one training. While he told me puppy training wasn’t something he offered we continued to have a lengthy conversation about training tips for this specific breed. Incorporating his advice into our training routine has been so helpful and I am very grateful for his willingness to share tips with no gain.

I first saw the sighthound guy on instagram. Amazing and so comforting to see what can be done with these types of dogs. We have always had Lurcher’s and recall was always an issue once the prey drive kicked in. Contacted him and he was so helpful. The sight hound guy is a truly lovely, knowledgeable, kind person! After finding his page on Instagram, I binge-watched every video and after commenting on one with a question about what would be best for my on-lead reactive whippet, he answered thoroughly, sent me more information and offered a call to talk it through. Even when I said I couldn’t be a potential client as I live too far away, he didn’t mind spending 20 minutes with me talking through my issues. He really understands sighthounds and gave me loads of valuable tips which I have been putting into practice. I am trying to be calm and stop scanning for threats! It’s a work on progress but getting better! I wish I lived in London and my dog could join his pack!

In January I took charge or a 2 year old whippet cross. He is a lovely dog and I had managed to work out most of his issues. The only remaining issue was recall. So I still had to keep him on the lead most of the time. I was keen to use a recall collar but was also worried about the process. Frank went to stay with Don and the pack for 3 day. I was worried to leave him but Don sent multiple videos and updates daily. We then had a joint training session. I am now pleased to say that Frank is now off lead all the time the training Don provided and the collar give me the ability to call him back any time. I am really pleased and would highly recommend Don if you have a stubborn sight hound.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to work with him in person because I live in another country, but that was not a problem for him at all. He immediately offered guidance and practical exercises remotely. You will not get generic advice from Don. His approach is absolutely individual. He will invest his time and knowledge to fully understand your specific situation and what is really going on with your dog. Don shares his knowledge very generously, and it is clearly rooted in real hands-on experience, not just something learned from a textbook. He brings things back to the natural foundations and the true essence of the relationship between a dog and a human — mutual respect and trust. And when training is built on that foundation, the results are real, stable, and sustainable in the long run. I recommend Don with complete confidence.

We left our beloved ex- racer Greyhound for the first time with Don. We were instantly reassured that we had made the right decision after our first meet up with Don @K9 Exclusive Walks Ltd. Our dog was relaxed and comfortable at Don’s home, we had regular updates and are beyond thrilled to see our beautiful dog enjoying the company of other dogs and learning some much needed training. We have already booked in our next dog’s next stay!

Super helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. I got in contact with Don this afternoon about some recall for my sighthound. He got back to me straight away and got on a call with me offering up really insightful advice and training tips. He is very polite and so willing to help, could tell straight away how passionate he is about helping people and dogs. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Don enough. He has transformed the behaviour of my 18 month old lurcher. No longer do I have anxiety about his recall/behaviour when out with him. I actually enjoy taking him out now! For training, boarding, anything dog related, I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Amazing training, daycare and overnight stays recommended by our whippet owner friends, our teenage puppy Pickle has really improved his recall with Don’s training. We’ve learnt lots of new techniques through Don’s videos to continue the training at home too. So glad we sent our Greyhound, Echo to Don. He’s such a kind a reassuring and understanding presence for the dogs, but also for us and our myriad of booking mistakes! Echo loved staying for 5 days with Don and being off the lead with the pack. Updates were amazing and communication was brilliant. Echo will be going back to Don and loved every second there. Highly recommended.

Don looked after Frida so well! She spent the day and night with Don and ‘the pack’ and from the excellent video updates it looked like she had a wonderful time. Don’s training with her has made a great difference in a very short time, Frida seems much more tuned in to us on her walks. Thanks Don!

We have met Don a couple of times for training and our dog has stayed over at his house for several nights. We completely trust Don with our dog and he has helped significantly improve some behavioural issues. He has increased our confidence as first time dog owners and look forward to the next opportunity that we have to use his services.

We had a wonderful experience with K9 Exclusive Walks. Don is highly professional, personable, an expert with sighthounds and provided truly excellent care (and advice!) for our greyhound. We also really appreciated his flexibility and going out of his way to accommodate us at short notice and make our dog comfortable, Stitch really benefitted from being part of the pack and Don’s expertise, even just over a few days. Disco the Whippet loved her overnight stay with Don and his pack. She had a fun and activity packed stay. She even went swimming for the first time. Don is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We were sent videos which was very reassuring as it was her first overnight away from home. We are all looking forward to her next stay.

Our two greyhounds stayed with Don for just over a week so we could take our first holiday in years. We have really struggled to find a boarder that can accommodate both our greyhounds, both have different needs but Don put us at ease from the very first meeting. We received so many updates, pictures and videos that we felt perfectly at peace, knowing that they were having a fabulous time! Don even managed to get Pearl trained to be off lead, something we never thought possible and are looking forward to putting this new training to use back home!

Don has been brilliant with our Lurcher Bobby. His confidence around sighthounds is second to none and we have no problem in trusting Don and his ability to care for Bobby… and keep Bobby on his ‘paws’ training wise! Bobby comes home exhausted and happy after a day with Don – he will always be returned clean, well socialised and walked! Thank you Don! We are so pleased we found you!

Don has been exceptional at training our saluki boy, iloh. We originally attended a generic puppy class but it soon came apparent to us, iloh needed someone with specialist breed experience! By luck I came across don through a Google search, and it was a blessing to find K9exw. Sighthounds are in a League of their own when it comes to stubborness and need specialist training for recall, every time spent with Don we see more and more improvement with Ilohs recall! The daily updates are a visual masterpiece and getting to see Iloh run with the pack is truly beautiful. There’s no one else I would trust to let my boy off lead then with the K9exw! I came across Don, the Sighthound Guy, on Instagram and reached out with a few questions — he was incredibly helpful and generous with his time from the start. I then booked him to look after my greyhound, Bart, while I was away. We did a meet and greet with his pack beforehand, and Bart settled in straight away. Over the past week, Bart has been living with Don and his dogs, learning recall — and it’s genuinely been life-changing. I can now walk him safely off lead on Wimbledon Common, confident he’ll come back to me and that he’s safe around other dogs too. I couldn’t recommend Don more highly.

It was clear he not only knew the breed inside out, but genuinely cared for every animal in his care. Pablo stayed with Don for three days to work on recall, and the difference in his behaviour when he came home was remarkable. Don took the time to not only train Pablo, but to teach us how to handle him properly so the progress would stick. Throughout the stay, Don sent us wonderful videos of the pack out on walks, all running, playing, and clearly having a brilliant time. Pablo loved it so much he protested when it was time to leave, which says it all really. If you have a sighthound in London and you’re looking for a trainer or boarding, Don is quite simply the best. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

We took our four year old Bedlington Whippet to Don for training as her recall has always been patchy and she’s had to be on a lead for most of her life. We wanted to get to a point where she could be trusted off lead even with squirrels and other animals to chase. We met Don and his dogs in the park and he recommended we send her to stay with them for the night. For the whole time she was with him, we received updates on how training was going and videos of the dogs all playing together which was really nice to see. Since collecting her a week ago, we have found her to be a different dog. Her recall is so much better to the point that she can be off lead when we go for walks. She is able to play with other dogs and explore without us having to worry that she’ll get into trouble chasing foxes or squirrels. It is truly amazing that Don was able to do this – we have been to other trainers who were all lovely, but Don’s teaching with his pack has really helped with our sighthound. I would recommend him to anyone with a sighthound who needs some support with training. This has made our lives and our dog’s life so much better.

Don is a sighthound whisperer! We’ve been so so impressed by his training for our lurcher, Reggie! Over the course of 5 days and 4 nights, we’ve already seen an incredible improvement. We got recommended to contact Don through a fellow lurcher owner we met in Highgate Woods.
